Instructions for the Maintenance of Copper Handicrafts
1. Place the copper artworks in a cool, dry, and less dusty environment. Avoid contact with corrosive chemicals such as acids, oils, and chlorides.
2. When moving the copper artworks, always wear cotton gloves and do not touch them directly with your hands to prevent corrosion by the sweat on your hands. When moving them, handle them gently to avoid damage from collisions. Do not use oil-stained paper or boxes for packaging.
3. For the dust on the copper artworks, gently wipe them with a clean and soft dry cotton cloth. You can also regularly apply a small amount of edible wax or olive oil. For the delicate parts that require special attention (such as those that are easy to break or damage), use a soft brush to brush away the dust, or use a vacuum cleaner to suck it away, or blow it away.
4. It is necessary to prevent the copper artworks from being mechanically damaged. Do not collide with each other, do not stack them, and take extra care when handling finely crafted and easily damaged copper artworks.
